Find names and details for deleted or private videos in your YouTube playlist

The problem

Some of the videos in my YouTube game music playlist have been deleted or set to private. Unfortunately, YouTube does not show any information about these videos, so it is hard to guess which videos they are. In most cases, the title of the videos can be found by searching the video ID on Google, Bing, or archive.org’s Wayback Machine. However, in this case, neither Google nor Bing or archive.org were helpful, and I really wanted these videos back in my playlist.

The solution

Quite a playlist. This helpful tool scans a YouTube playlist using its URL and identifies any deleted or privately set videos. It then searches all kinds of search engines, social networks, and archive.org for information about these videos and lists them. This way, I could find the titles of the deleted and privately set YouTube videos and re-added them to my playlist by using similar videos.

Just what I needed! “Quite a playlist” is a tiny but powerful tool.
